not true in most cases. 5 and 6 points are the most common says the guy with one tattooed on his back. mine being 5 pointed.

Traditionally yes, but the term pentagram describes more than just a 5 pointed star. And being as I have done much research on pentagrams and their history.........

Either provide your research or stop trolling. Penta means 5. What youre saying is the equivalent of a 4 pointed triangle or a 6 pointed quadrilateral. Just because some idiot gets a star of david tattoo and calls it a pentagram that doesnt mean it's a pentagram.

I have a feeling this is one of those "the right way" vs "the way it used" arguments.
To wit: the actual phrase is "champing at the bit" but try to tell that to people. Same thing here...to people who don't understand the etymology of pentagram, to them it means a "star with symbolism, usually satanic," whereas in reality it means five-gram.
